Of all things like it.
From TV’s to offices they are everywhere.

They can control many thing with their
Smooth but buttoned filled surface.
They have infrared sensors to send the orders.

Their batteries range from alkaline to LiPo.
All different kinds, some never heard of.

The signals range from ultrasonic to infrared but
Only one is used today.
They have had many evolutions from the day they were born in 1955.
From remotes the size of the Macquarie,
Buttons the size of your thumb.
They all come in different shapes and sizes.

The humble controller,
Such a common thing, yet without them
The world would be in anarchy, chaos.
We would have to get off the sofa to turn on the TV.
Going back to manual would be too extreme.
