Quokka

Furry, fluffy ball,
Grizzly brown fur,
The quokka is so unique,
Magnificent mammals,
Short arms, like a claw,
Searching for food,
In the shrubland,
Searching for berries and leaves,
They bounce and hop,
Out in the sunshine.
But the quokkas are not safe,
Fire burns their home,
The forests crash and fall,
Foxes and cats,
Searching to kill,
They need our help,
To stay safe.
