The colours of the rainforest
gleam on the doors and hood
as it races around
the track of my memories.

It’s lights brighten my happiness
every time I see it.
It’s a clear winner
every day on the road.

Fast as fire, strong as steel
green and red livery sums up the body.
The winner of the race of my mind
the champion of my imagination.

Even though now
it’s gathering dust
it will earn more gold medals.
A winner on wheels.
