Rainforest Alive

Under the lush green topped rainforest

bushes rustle and dance in the wind.

Rivers rush, smash, and bash faster

than a speeding car on its track.

Birds fly high in the sky, while

moles dig like a machine. Trees

endlessly grow and some

even grow older than time.

Some trees and logs become home

to ants and insects, while fungus

surges on toxic

dead animals and trees.

Everything needs each other

to survive and if even just one thing dies,

then everything falls apart.
