Ray of Sunshine

I reached to the sky,
As if I could fly,
Soaring through dancing trees,
And across roaring seas.

Sparkling magic smiling at me,
Created for all the world to see,
Just out of reach,
Like winter’s snow to a summer’s beach.

I gave a great sigh,
As I started to cry,
I wanted so much to get this sunshine,
To have happiness and joy for a lifetime.
