Reaching for Water

In the light cool waters, roaming free

Past the corals and through the sand

In the light cool waters, the fish fly through the chilly water

Me and the fish in the light cool waters,

Past the sharks, floating over

Breathes of bubbles fly up, fly up

Past the sharks, under the shadow

Waiting until the light comes past,

The corals in all sizes, small to tall

Crawling creatures in all the cracks

Over time corals change

To dark to light, to tall to small

Until there's nothing but dust on the ocean floor,

The warming of oceans the bleaching corals

The melting of ice, the deaths of polar bears

The rising of sea, the flooding of cities

All because of this Climate Change.
