The sun needs our love

It’s been taking care of us up above

“Help me grow,” yelled the grass

You didn’t hear it up in first class

“Let me grow,” called the apple tree

You ignore it while you go on your shopping spree

Flowers scream for hours

Go ahead and waste water in your shower

We are all just thieves

Who steal leaves from trees.

Be grateful to animals

Never be hateful to fresh air

Recognise the land you walk on

Recognise one day this could all be gone

Mother Nature made us so wise

Why yet we still lie

This might just be a silly poem that rhymes, but we need to open our eyes

I know I’m still a youth but someone needs to tell the truth
