The Caroline Chisholm Catholic College Red Room Poetry Installation has been represented as an antiques shop. An antiques shop collects and sells a wide assortment of objects that reflect the past, the present, different places, values, attitudes and people. The objects can be viewed as representing what is considered the norm to being quirky. Each object has belonged to someone and the connection between the person and belonging has a unique personal story, history and bond. This is a way that the importance of the talismanic objects is shown. The person who buys the object commences a new journey and new story until such a time that the object is passed on to someone else.
