On a freezing cold day
Even if it’s sunny
I’ll be relaxing
In my warm heated bed
Not reading a book
And not drawing in my scrapbook
Can you guess what I’m doing?
Well it only has one screen
And seven buttons
Give up?
Well it can vary from several colours
But mines purple even though it looks blue
And like many toys
I got it for Christmas
Do you give up?
But that wasn’t the day
It was in possession
Of my family
Many years
Before I even knew how to control a video game
My dad got a hold
Of this very Gameboy
That lies in my room
Up until this day
That’s right I said it it’s a Gameboy
