Revolving world

Imaginary world besieged in a casket
Simple design unveils a simple planet
When shaken, tossed and hurled
Shards of crisp ice material, revolves a delicate world
Glass round edges placed in my hands
Flightless birds dance on the snow-covered sands
My snow globe world is where I’d like to be
Quiet and peaceful as the real-world bleeds
The natural world that we must treasure
Or the pristine white snows will turn to desert.
Shielded, by my glass veneer
Protected from a polluted atmosphere
