Wrinkled cap backward faced
I’m dreaming, floating.
Blue angel fish drift around
To the back of my head
Through the ends of my ears
I feel lonely,
Oh so lonely.
My bones weak
Barely pulling a smile.
If only I could see her again
My beautiful granddaughter,
Her charming smile
I want to see her.
Even though
I’m surrounded
by people, none of them her.
Now I lie here
At the bottom of
The ocean
Waiting for another corpse
To be thrown down to
Rot
This endless eternal
pit of unknown
Engulfs our hearts whole.
So unhappy, so unloved
another corpse caught
by the everlasting tide.
