The orchestra of the forest sits quietly in my ear,

Crickets, birds, beetles, snakes, panthers and a deer.

A rumble, a beep, a squeak and a bang.

The trees start to fall and so does the orangutan.

The music of the forest now destroyed by engines grumbling

Furry families run, scared for their lives, evicted from their slumbering.

Entire worlds built from moss, plants and trees,

Home to the largest creatures right down to the bees.

Like miniature cites in a faraway place,

Being taken by greed no wants to face.

Toppled, crashed, smashed and hacked,

Thousands of trees per minute we can never get back.

The animals have no voice against this corporate slime.

We must protect them and speak against this committed crime.

It is not too late to turn the tide and protect what this planet gives.

Like a caring race, we can make sure that mother nature lives.
