Save The Numbats!

Have you heard of numbats?

They are quite threatened.

They get hunted by cats,

In what’s like seconds.

One thousand’s what remains,

Which is very sad.

Their houses burn in flames,

This just makes me mad.

Numbats eat just termites,

This is what they do.

Termites hide out at night,

So, numbats do too.

Numbats have lots of fur,

It is reddish-brown.

They have long tongues that curl,

Their stripes all go down.

We must save the species,

This is very true.

We must stop pollution,

You should take part, too.
