Save the trees

some small, some big

some barely a twig

some green some brown

some almost upside-down

some climb-able, some not

but there sure were a lot

that towered over me

some so high that I could not see

but some were not

for some humans had a plot

to cut down the trees

like that's how it was meant to be

I can almost hear their voices screaming
