Sea Shells
They lay, still, silent on the sandy stretch
Eagerly awaiting me.
Fleeting waves engulfed the shells,
Concealing them in a midst of fine grains.
Waves
The bolt, boldly, beating against the towering walls
I stood before it, tremor wrapped around me, fear filling me.
Force, racing to the sand.
Squelching me feet against the damp grains.
Possession
Heart palpitated rapidly, punching my chest,
Stretched my tingling hands, I grasped the shell.
Happiness; it rushed into me.
Accomplishment.
