Seasons

Hot sweaty days,
Beneath the sun's rays,
Evenings, pale and warm,
Too dangerous for a strike, from a storm.
Winds blow, trees shake,
Leaves crunch, with every step you take,
Cooler now, leaves will fall,
The wispy rain and wind say it all.
Thunder bash, lightning clash,
Hail, rain, puddles splash,
Cold now, somewhere there’s snow
Wind will whistle, wind will blow.
Birds tweet, lambs bleat,
Buds form a flower fleet,
Warming up, sun shines,
Crops grow in vertical lines.
A year has past,
We’re here at last.
Seasons have changed,
Knowledge we’ve gained.
