Second Place

When I was seven I got a trumpet,
It was Christmas day,
(and I had a yummy crumpet!)

When I was nine I was ready,
I was going...
I was going to Manly jetty.

I practiced and worked hard;
I was so excited,
I wrote a colourful card.

Today of all days!
I got my music,
Got my trumpet out of the tray.

Went to my Eisteddfod,
Stepped forward to the door,
Came out with a trophy...

In second place with more!
