Seljalandsfoss

The sunset trails below the horizon
banishing light from sight,
leading rocky surfaces forming the Seljaland waterfall
Nothing far from perfect
but with its glistering clear waters
and spongy blankets over the rocks,
the moist taste in the air gives
an Atlantic scent
filling your senses with emotions.
All you can hear is the water flowing down
from the glistening waterfall
making it hard to look away as the amazing sunet air frees you.
And you can’t help but to escape your life
with a small, spaced-out, cosy cave under the waterfall
it just refreshes your soul.
So sit and relax
because it won’t last
for long.
When the time comes, the sunset hangs just below the horizon
with a dark tinge of purple following.
It makes a perfect picture to cherish forever, and ever.
