I can’t believe she’s gone

Truly gone, as in never coming back

Never telling us of her childhood

Of her amazing maths teacher, her foster parents

Or her volunteering at the hospital

Hopefully she goes in peace with no pain

Hopefully she’ll go happily

Go back to her most loved one unto death and beyond

Go and lay beside him forevermore

May she rest in peace in our memories

She will be young again

And see her loved

She has left in her sleep

Forever gone but with no pain

She will rest forever again

May she live on through our memories

Passed through stories and generations

‘Til one day we join her

Deep in the ground

And rest forevermore
