Sir David Attenborough

Looking at Sir David Attenborough’s Life,

He is 96 years old.

He wishes the world was twice as big,

And only half explored and untold.

I’ve learned from him, to cherish the air,

Every mouthful of food we take,

For if we damage the world, we damage ourselves,

And this will be our greatest mistake.

All of life is connected.

Our growing population he does condemn,

We humans are powerful enough to create worlds,

But sadly, to also destroy them.

We need to decide as a whole, to care,

As David once said about all things green,

“No one will protect what they don’t care about,

And they can’t care about something they haven’t seen."
