Running in the night,

Bushy tail drags behind,

As they climb,

Up the big trees silently away from the light.

Ready to explore,

They set on a course,

To find a home to stay,

Away from all people in the world today.

Their homes destroyed,

Cut and crushed,

Leaving the creatures rubble and a stump,

It is time to find another one.

It is time to care,

So, we must help,

As they’ll not be right,

We need to help them now before time runs out.

Threatened species of NSW,
