I know a place, that I will bring you someday
Where the light is patched and hidden away
The mossy rocks and mushrooms on trees
If you go here my friend, you will not believe

The crystal-clear waters, the babbling brooks
The calming cool air, the fairy dell nooks
The looming old trees, as tall as can be
They will reach to the sun; the song has just begun.

As I look to the canopy, the birds will sing
The tangled and twisted vines will bring
The forest together as one mighty king.
But wait...

A small beetle scatters across the brown leaves
The gentle pitter patter of its feet sends me down to the underworld.
Worms, soil, busy ants scattered about
Water being stored in special rooms yelling KEEP OUT!

Soil being treated like royalty, and rising up to the canopy once more
I take a breath of sweet air, and smile again.
