Snow bunnies

I've never seen the sky so near
Or the morning sunrise ever so clear
I love the white glistening snow 
The footprints of rabbits, how much they do show
We follow the trail and their burrow we see
I could watch them for hours, but we must go ski
I put on my skis and set off in a jiffy
Off to watch the view, oh how pretty
Feeling on top of the world on the mountain top
To take it all in we sit and we stop
The rivers and lakes, the icicles too
We watch and we wait to take in the view
Snow comes down and lands on my nose
I catch a snowflake and it slowly unfroze
We end our day by sitting on the snow 
Watching and waiting for the rabbits to show.
