I am a snow gum swaying in the icy cold breeze.

Icicles hang from my branches as snow piles up on my leaves.

I see everything through my thick branches and leaves.

I am a snow gum with my twisting and turning branches.

All the snow is weighing me down,

I am getting closer and closer to the ground.

I am a snow gum I am getting smothered

by the freezing white snow.

It is snowing harder now animals taking

shelter from the blanket like snow

covering everything.

A wombat at my knees comforting me,

an owl in my canopy nestled between my

leaves.

Next morning, I hear a sound as my tree friends

are getting cut down I hope my life doesn’t

end now.
