Starry night

It was a bright starry night like no other

The stars shining in the shimmering sky

It was a wonderful delight with a starry midnight 

A picnic in the park is such a delight

The shimmering, shiny sky looked a lot like sprinkles 

A dazzling, sparkling gloom 

A guiding light at dusk

A beautiful sight like no other

There was a flash of light like twilight 

It was alright but gave me a fright

The stars formed a knight in shining armor

It’s quite spectacular 

The silvery orange shimmering stars are serene at nightfall 

The luminous stars are still in my sight

They look down at me

Making me feel sleepy at bedtime, goodnight starry
