Struggle of Humankind and the Earth

I sense the gentle breeze flowing around me,
I feel the warm sunlight soothing my soul,
I hear the sound of a cat meowing, a buzzing bee,
The sensations which paint Mother Nature’s all.
I fear for the innocent creatures falling to a cause manmade,
While we turn a whale into our delicacy and a dog into our maid,
Nightmares haunt me of the eternal suffering our forefathers called,
The demons which threaten Mother Nature’s all.
Those who embrace the destruction of the natural world,
Instead welcome the extinction of our species by disasters gnarled,
We fail to foresee the widespread collapse bestowed from our own evil call,
The revenge brought upon us by Mother Nature’s all.
So our survival battle against time is not over yet,
Prolonged by the demonic conservatives leading us to our collective deathbed,
We must continue to resist hell’s temptation and call upon the earth, “Save our souls!”
To earn the salvation called by the virtuous hand of Mother Nature’s all.
