Teddy Bear

Teddy bear, the cuddly toy staying with me
With me when I am a sleep in my bed and in my dreams.

Teddy bear, the toy that I cuddle when I am in my bed.
He stays with me as I sleep making me drift off calmly.

Teddy bear, the indestructible toy
The dogs fight over him in the night.

I wake up and see he’s gone!

I bravely tip toe through dark hallways,
I peek around corners trying to find him.

I found him in the dark kitchen lying in the dogs’ bed.
I grab him, I run back to the bedroom I fall back’ to sleep with him content.
