Teddy Remembers

The memories hurdled through my mind
Grasping onto those moments

I now lay Forgotten
In the middle of a deserted sea
Stranded

*creak*
The doors finally open
I now lay
In the arms of my childhood friend
Reunited at last

I hear her whisper
“Please sing to me, how you used to “
While i lay in her arms
Useless

I drifted asleep knowing that i am safe
Dreaming of all the fun times we’ve had

But I then realise that as she grows older
The more lonelier i’ll become
I just want you to remember
Your old teddy loves you.
