Thalassophile

I am woken by the sound of colliding waves
I realise that my time here, has once come to an end 
Though I shall be back to recoup my betrayed love 
The ocean is like a lid to the sea animals living in their own world
I had a sonder, that each sea creature is living its own life
The tenderness of the euphoric whales dance and swoon
The moon beams down as the marmoris dances on the ocean 
You shall never feel lost and always remember
The grains of the sand will keep you calm with company
The thought of school and work wanders into my mind
The dilemma of connecting with the beach or leaving my elysian behind
This eidetic memory forever sits in my hippocampus
Now sitting and standing by a canvas 
Approaching the dunes filled with deep verdant flowers
An intense feeling of euphoria awaits me behind the dunes
As the water douses me I feel a sense of belonging
This is a feeling I shall never forget or disregard
This is my source of energy 
As I place my smooth fingers on the marble ocean floor
Once again I feel at home
