The smell of the salty sea,

Winds pushing the waves towards the shore,

A kaleidoscope of colours encapsulating me,

If only there were more.

Rough rocks and shrub beneath my feet,

The soaring of an eagle as it swoops,

Catching a large fish for meat,

Circling the rocks in loops.

The tranquility immersed me until-

Boom! the fifth apostle hit the ground,

Shocked, my heart skipped a beat,

As I quickly scrambled to my feet.

My jaw dropped to the floor,

Staring desperately at the remains,

It had snapped right from the core.
