The secret silhouette,
the object I hold dear
An object that emits a glow,
in the shape of a tear

This strange external entanglement,
that binds itself to one’s arm
Inside a God of an arthropod,
although it will cause no alarm

This is because of its concealment,
there is no trouble here
The brightness of the glow emitted from the encasement,
is as bright as what the navigators use to steer

The life behind it’s shine,
Before it was coated and harmed
It must have fed on insects,
All the more to keep it calm

Now it’s in my possession,
The glow-in-the-dark tear
Preserved for all to see,
The loss of this item I fear.
