The Battle For Life

Stand with defiance

The plants are upright

Like men at war

They are about to fight a battle,

They take their positions

They lean against the barricade

And finally,

The war commences

Flames leap to life

A blazing pathway is made

The beast engulfs everything in its way

Fire is abundant

But so is nature

The war soon comes to an end

But plants are still found standing

Well and truly,

The victorious vanquisher

Viridescent forever 

Still they thrive again 

Everlasting life
