The Beach

The excitement in the salty air
Runs through my hair, with sand in my toes.
The fresh blue water chills me down
The sun shines on burnt skin.
Each wave is a heartbeat from the bottom.
Fish zoom away from my step.
Rock pools gather the sea life, like an aquarium.
The calming waves crash continuously
The palm trees sway side to side.
Relaxing people lay on the burning sand.
