Seagulls screaming, the ocean crying all because of what we eat and make.

Pollution, everywhere you go along the beach.

“It's disgusting”, they say.

Even though they are the ones doing it.

But if we look at the glistening water and all the wonderful seabirds we realise it's not all bad.

The water is getting warmer, the trees are ablaze but we do nothing, nothing at all.

It has always been there before any life was here.

We must respect it or what comes toward us I fear.

It pains me to see the destruction.

All the trees are getting killed, just so we have a bigger community.

They used to dance in the wind now they just sit there and stare.

Sad of what's coming to the world, sad because of despair.

At Curl Curl when the lagoon opens up,

The ocean takes weeks to heal.

The pollution slowly kills the water and everything that surrounds it.

It hurts me to see that mother nature is hurting.

As someone who loves the water, I could never see it die.

But the water is still brightly shining against the sun.

It is still fun.
