The beach

The warmth of the golden sun
The soft white sand
The salt in your hair,
Sun-kissed and tanned
The ripples of water
As the waves crash near the shore
Then pulled back away again
For another repeat 
The rhythm of the ocean
The musical notes of sand and water
Shells and sailboats 
Aqua blue colours,
The smell of fresh sea air
The calming of the beach,
Helps mend the soul
