While I lay on the luscious emerald grass,

I feel the whistling air pass.

The vibrant chirping birds,

looking for their crunchy curds.

While I lay on the brown rocky dirt,

I painfully try not to get hurt.

By the precious baby roots,

While I’m listening to the owls' hoots.

While I lay on the red desert sand,

Listening to the cockatoos' band,

A koala and kangaroo come along to say hi,

I close my eyes, nature's beauty says goodbye.
