“Rise!” Said the Rooster,
“Shhh!” Said the Creek.
Out came the dear old Mouse,
Who gave a little squeak.

“What is all this fuss about?”
Came from Tommy the Old Goat’s pen.
The mouse replied “I’m afraid the Creek does does not appreciate
The job of this poor old hen.

“Excuse me, I’m a Rooster,
And the Creek will obey my command!
I’m telling you if she does not get up soon,
I'll banish her from this land!”

The Mouse began “Creek dear, listen to me,
Soon you really must wake.
Come and explore the beauty here,
Perhaps we’ll cross paths with a snake!"

“We’ll gaze at the blossoming flowers,
Glistening in the morning light.
What if we made a campfire,
In the depths of the woodlands tonight!”

“Could we explore the rocks?”
Exclaimed the Creek with an excited spike.
“Yes of course, dear!” Said the Mouse,

"Anything you like.”
