Every tree has a story
The rings tell the story of a tree
Its whole life is laid in front of you
If you look hard enough
Every drought,
Every fire,
Every disturbance in the soil
Did you know when a tree dies it tells the other trees their wisdom
They give away their nutrients
In their final days, all they can do is try and help others

Humans aren't like this
We are cruel.
We’re the devil corrupting these angelic beings
We take away all this wisdom, beauty and hope
A whole life is taken away
Using just a spray-painted marker
And a saw
