In the Tasmanian bush lives the mighty stag. His antlers are humongous. If you get the chance to see them make sure you count their spikes because that determines how old they are. They used their antlers to scare predators off. In spring Staggs go up to trees and rub up against them because they get very itchy from fleas. Sometimes you might see a little tree with some of its bark hanging off the tree and some people find their antlers lying next to the tree. A lot of people think it hurts them but they come off naturally. It's called shedding and people collect them to use as everyday resources like a coat hanger.
