The Bilby

The gum trees are towering above
As I start to fall in love
The bilby buries deep
She hops around and leaps
Her ears and nose reach far
As I stare into the stars
The bilby looks curious as I near
She calms down, she shows no fear
The bilby is a gorgeous creature
And I would love to meet her.
