The Blue Box Gum

Amongst a shady, dusty patch of trees

Lies the BlueBox Gum 

Swaying and swishing in the wind.

The BlueBox Gum Tree rests calmly in a shady group of trees

Hidden in the school as kids run around playing happily. 

The scent of the moist gum Leaves wafts through the air.

Swimming into the warm day, the sun shines down. 

The beautiful gum tree provides shade and comfort.

The Gum Tree is a shelter and home for many of Australia’s wonderful animals.

One of those animals is a Koala. 

They need Gum Trees to survive. 

When they eat the moist and nutritious leaves

They don't need to drink water or eat any other food. 

The BlueBox Gum Tree is an amazing plant.
