The Boat

The coral pink boat drifts along the calm,
flowing river like a baby in a basket.
The towering cliffs surround like giant statues,
hovering silently from above.
She glides on in the warm summer's breeze,
while the gentle river nudges her to a beautiful oasis,
where she will rest eternally.
Sparkling water from the sun's rays bobble underneath
as the beautiful crimson red streak of sunlight tickles her hull.
The perfectly sweet breeze sways on silently
as the stunning flowers dance around the trees.
She still rests here today, where people venture from far and wide to come and see her sleep
by the waters of the mythical oasis. It is here where the rhythm of nature fills every breath.
