The Bottlebrush tree

Hello, I’m a bottle brush tree,

An attractor of a bird and a bee.

I’m sometimes very small,

And sometimes I'm 9 metres tall.

I’m found across the west Aussie coast,

But found on the east coast the most.

I’m coloured in orange,red or white,

But I'm mostly not in your sight.

I need to get a lot of light

That's why I grow with lots of might.

I grow around a metre a year

and I don’t grow everywhere

I can live up to four decades old

And sometimes live in the cold.

My nickname is the wattle tree

Thats my name I’ve been called lately

I am Australia's national tree

Because of my strength and beauty.

I'm the greatest tree in reality,

As I'm the bottlebrush tree.
