Climate.

This bursting bubble traps us,

From every car and every bus,

Our every action carves it,

Shaping it bit by bit.

Patience.

Our virtues couldn’t help,

We couldn’t free a yelp.

We try too hard, yet not enough,

Our planet getting rather tough.

The end.

Our earth is dying swiftly,

The years we have will shrink to fifty.

Since 1896 we’ve known the toll

Of fossil fuels using too much coal

How?

How can we stop this, you may ask,

Many years back we’d revealed the mask.

No petrol, ovens or carbon dioxide.

We can stop this tragedy and that is the good side.
