The Calm Forest

The calm trees were flowing and the leaves
Were glowing like the beautiful sunlight and the birds 
Were singing a wonderful chorus from
The bottom of their hearts and the people
Came they and changed the whole place and 
Made it into an old, black road and
Now it remains a sad and lonely
Forest the chemicals are coming from
The cars and destroying the tree and killing them
