Land of bright colour

Land of beautiful and peaceful life

Healthy plants’ bearings

But then the animal struggles to strife

Land of pollution

Land of harsh, overwhelming death

Visible manmade rubbish

Scars of manmade scraps

Mother Earth’s ire

The world set ablaze with dancing fire

Scathing hot, frigid cold

Already swallowing her entirety

Toxins she consumes

Poisoned water and diminishing breaths

Heavy gases, clogged mess

Gorging resentfully on artificial trash

But if we stop the torment

Reducing our careless discards

We will allow them to thrive

We will alleviate their pain
