A cute and adorable cat
Was eating and getting quite fat
He looked in the house
And found a big mouse
But ended up eating a rat

This cat it would purr all day long
The sound it was like a warm song
It smiled at you
It grew and it grew
Until the cat did something wrong

This cat, it was getting quite old
It shivered because of the cold
It sat by the fire
Next to the dryer
To me my happy cat was gold
