The Day Molly and Soxy Met

It was the day of Molly's birthday,
She jumped out of her bed,
Ran down the stairs, saw her parents,
Can you guess what they said?

Happy Birthday! they screamed,
Molly was extremely happy,
But when her sister opened the door,
She got really snappy.

They waited for forever,
You could tell Molly was sad,
But when her sister remembered,
She changed her mood to glad.

They left their house around one
To go into the city;
There it sat in a dusty window,
In a shop that was very busy.

Molly tried very hard
To get this toy;
When her parents said 'yes',
She jumped for joy!
