The growling flames,

Intimidated the helpless koalas up above,

Seeking in desperation for help.

The trees were engulfed with the hot and brutal fire,

As they fell rapidly, one by one.

The newly ripe eucalyptus leaves vanished,

As the burnt trees lay silently,

Admiring their final seconds with the surroundings they no longer know.

The trees were dying rapidly,

Falling to the ground dead.

The koalas ran to safety,

Suddenly being trapped by the wildfire once again.

The endless road of trauma came to an end,

Saved by the courageous firefighters of the north.

The END!

The end.

The end left a trail of misery and sorrow behind.
