A drop of water
Do we take this for granted?
Its uses are vast

The lakes and rivers
As steam rises to form clouds
From the blazing sun

Plants rise from water
The liquid animals need
Water gives us life

Great green and blue waves
Holding vast organisms
Below its surface

Creating splashes
In pools and sandy beaches
Water pledges fun

A drop of water
The simplest of all matter
Yet it’s so complex
